The information in this training package has been put together to aid those who are wishing to gain a formal or higher Health and Safety Awards. It is suitable for Managers, Supervisors, Safety Reps and Employees as a valuable reference resource which can be modified to suit your own particular training needs. Set out as a series of POWERPOINT lectures / slideshows with supporting materials. Stage A of the package is set as an introductory level, Stage B, introduces the student to more technical aspects of Health and Safety. Stage C. covers Health and Safety Law. Stage D. is revision and useful study materials / information.
Aims
The aims are to:

• Identify ill health effects of physical processes of work & the environment & recommend suitable measures to combat risks.
• Explain the processes & procedures for investigating & reporting accidents at work.
• Identify the key features of a health & safety policy, the preparations & performance review of a health & safety audit.
• Identify fire hazards & consequential risks, advise on measures to minimise fire risks & develop fire procedures.
